TO facilitate smoother traffic flow at toll plazas this Hari Raya holidays, PLUS will close all its Reload Lanes
on Sept 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 17 and 18. Alternatively, PLUS and Touch 'n Go will open Reload 'n Go counters at selected rest and service areas along
the highways, between 9am and 9pm. From today until Thursday, Reload 'n Go counters will be opened at Northbound rest areas Gurun, Gunung Semanggol, Tapah, Sungai Buloh Overhead Bridge and Pagoh. Southbound vehicles can reload at Seremban and Ayer Keroh Overhead Bridge rest areas.

KUALA LUMPUR: Immigration counters nationwide will be closed for three days from Sept 10 in conjunction with the Aidilfitri, the department said. Immigration director-general Datuk Abdul Rahman Othman, said counters in Perlis, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, Pahang, Labuan, Sarawak and Sabah would also be closed on Sept 4 to 5 and on Sept 18 to 19. TAYLOR'S University College is holding a cycling expedition to raise funds to combat poliomyelitis or polio. A NEW ramp from Taman Seputeh is ready and will be opened to traffic on Aug 20 at 10am. According to Kuala Lumpur City Hall, motorists from Taman Seputeh and Robson Heights has to use it to enter Jalan Syed Putra and the city centre. At the same time, the Jalan Tun Sambanthan intersection and road near the Brickfields police district headquarters and right turn towards Jalan Syed Putra will be closed.

PUTRAJAYA: More than 2,000 jobs are to be made available at the Labour Department’s Job Placement programme on Thursday, the Human Resources Ministry said in a statement today. Some 30 companies would be participating in the one-day programme to be held at the Padang Kelab Kilat TNB in Perai, Penang, from 10 am, it said. The companies would conduct walk-in interviews, and job-seekers would also have the opportunity to register and seek employment through the ministry’s JobsMalaysia portal, it said.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said this is to facilitate various maintenance works in the district to ensure sufficient water supply for the upcoming festive season.
